SYNOPSIS CIW Web Developer
CIW’s exam 1D0-532, “CIW Web Developer” is the one
requirement for the CIW Web Developer certification, as well as one of the
requirements for the jCert
Initiative Java certification.
It is designed for candidates who have the “skills
in using development tools to assemble J2EE-centric Web solutions consisting of
thin-client Web applications that interact with business services, databases
and Web services. Skills include writing application control logic, writing
application display logic, utilizing business services and exposing application
components using business services.” The prerequisite for this exam is to fill
out the on-line CIW
Certification Agreement.
This exam costs $99 USD for more developed countries
and $45 USD in emerging
nations. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
The pass score for this form-based multiple choice
exam is 55%. There are 60 questions and the exam has a duration of 90 minutes.
