SYNOPSIS HTI+
CompTIA’s Home Technology Integrator (HTI+) exam
HT0-102, “Systems Infrastructure and Integration,” is one of two exams required
to achieve the HTI+ certification. It is meant for technicians servicing the
automated home industry and with “at least one to two
years experience in the following business areas: information technology,
building trades, electricians, HVAC installers, audio/video integrators and
home security technicians.” This exam has no prerequisites but CompTIA
recommends that candidates hold the A+ and Network+ certifications.
It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric. In terms of
cost: “Prices of CompTIA exams vary,
depending upon the country you are taking the test in and your membership
status. In the US, prices range from $93 USD to $225 USD.
The passing score is 650.
This exam is multiple choice, consisting of 120 identification and situational
multiple questions, and has a duration of 90 minutes.
