Cisco’s exam 642-444, “Cisco IP Telephony Exam” (CIPT) is a core requirement for the Cisco Certified Voice Professional (CCVP) certification. The Cisco IP Telephony (CIPT) exam tests the candidate's knowledge of VoIP and PSTN components and technologies and the candidate's ability to describe, install, configure and support CCM 4.1 product in a Cisco network including such features as security and video.
This exam costs $125 USD. You can take the exam at any Prometric or Pearson VUE.
Cisco does not publish the pass score for this exam, which can include these types of questions: “multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice multiple answer, drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank, and simulations.” The exam has between 60 and 70 questions and lasts 90 minutes.
