Purchase, if you can, Oracle8i reference books from various
authors. See the IOUG site and other sites like bookpool.com and do searches on
Oracle8i. Some of these sites let you review the actual table of contents to
decide if the book has what you are looking for.
Purchase the Self Test Study practice tests. They are not 100%
correct, but they help a lot.
Utilize the latest Oracle test content checklist and be sure
you know everything on it.
Use the Cramsession found on this site.
Look up and actually key in and test all the new features and
enhancements using a live running installation of an Oracle 8i database.
Schedule your test for about one or two weeks after you have
actually finished reviewing and knowing all the study material for the first
time. Then you can just study and go through practice questions for the week or
two preceding the test.
Know what part of the day your brain works the best and
schedule you test for that time period.
Eat a good breakfast!
If you are well prepared you will pass the test!
