This exam is NOT for beginners. The exam
is very heavy, as it covers three major languages plus many other conceptual theories
on application development. Apart from reading this guide, you should try the
free online tests (like SkillDrill) to see if you are fully prepared for the
challenge.
Before you start, make sure you
have:
- Solid knowledge of web site
architecture and
infrastructures.
- Background
with procedural and object-oriented
programming.
- Knowledge
of VBScript, as ASP is based on VBScript.
- Solid background on
Relational Database Design
Fundamentals.
- Solid
background on Client/Server technology.
This study guide begins to examine the
fundamentals of the languages covered on the exam. Since the test covers three
major languages, which represent LOTS OF information, you need other reference
materials in addition to this study guide. Do NOT rely solely on the information
covered here. Do not simply memorize the material. EXTENSIVE PRACTICE and HARD
WORK is required to pass this exam.
